This is a rare Victorian style Norma Kamali skirt and jacket ensemble in a matte copper jacquard fabric. This suit is iconic 1980's, with shoulder pads and a cinched waist. The details are incredible in this outfit, with an almost metallic copper print scattered through the outfit.

The oversized jacket top has gorgeous pleating throughout, leg of mutton sleeves, and has a plunging neckline. It crosses and closes at the waist with 5 covered buttons and a snap. There is an additional row of 5 covered buttons on the front.

The slim skirt has a ruffle at the top that meets the jacket so perfectly that it gives the appearance of a peplum, or that there is a corset piece over the jacket! The skirt has a back kick pleat, and closes with a zipper and hook & eye.

Norma Kamali is one of our favorite designers and we have loved collecting her innovative pieces over the years! This unique avant garde outfit is labeled a size 8 and seems to fit a 6/8, but please always use the measurements as your guide for the best fit. Excellent condition.
